Have you ever wondered how your dollars are put to use in pursuit of ORT America's mission? Below is a list of ways that your contributions support the ORT programs and help empower 300,000 students and beneficiaries annually in 62 countries to become productive citizens and lead their families and communities forward.

  • $72 helps ORT provide the latest technologies to schools so students are prepared to enter today's job market and pursue fulfilling careers.

  • $150 covers the cost of textbooks and school supplies for a student for one year.

  • $250 helps an e-learning center bring students from St. Petersburg or Haifa together with students Prague or Santiago to learn and interact.

  • $550 supports one Student at Risk by providing essential needs such as books, school supplies, hot meals, clothing and transportation vouchers to an economically disadvantaged student for a year.

  • $1,000 covers the cost of a computer and related software so an economically disadvantaged ORT student in Israel can keep up with school assignments.

  • $1,800 trains teachers in Israel for one semester on the use of new science and technology labs as well as their applications.

  • $2,500 supports tuition for one child to attend ORT Rome, the only Jewish day school in the country.

  • $5,000 covers the cost of a five-year scholarship for one Jewish student to attend ORT Uruguay University.

  • $10,000 covers the cost for an entire grade of student participation in extracurricular programs, such as school trips, after school programs, and art and theater projects.

  • $18,000 covers the cost of an after school program in math, physics and chemistry.

  • $100,000 funds the installation of a state of the art computer lab in Israel, Argentina or the former Soviet Union.

These are just a few examples of the many funding opportunities ORT America has available. Projects can be partially or fully funded.
