A new recognition society has been established to honor long-standing ORT America members. The Guardian Society, launched at ORT America's inaugural annual meeting in March 2007, recognizes those who have been members of ORT for 25 years or more, as well as those who have been involved for 50 years or more. Guardians are recognized at ORT America national and local events.

We are pleased to report that there are more than 25,000 Guardian Society members! An impressive nearly 1,500 of those individuals have been involved with ORT for 50 years or more!  The ongoing support and dedication of these members has helped ORT's educational program continue to serve students worldwide.
