Bramson ORT College - Forest Hills and Brooklyn, NY

Bramson ORT College has two campuses one in Forest Hills, Queens and one in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Bramson ORT College offers quality college programs in business, technology and health services that meet the educational and career needs of a diverse New York community. Associate degree programs include accounting, business management, computer technology, electronics technology, office technology and medical assistant. 

English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are designed for students whose first language is not English. The school serves American students as well as immigrants from 40 countries. Both campuses specialize in programs that include a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and Associate degrees for students who have not completed high school. Los Angeles ORT College - Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles ORT Technical Institute is a higher educational institute dedicated to providing affordable technology-based education and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to the community. It is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).

All technical programs taught at the school prepare graduates for high-demand occupations with proven career growth opportunities in the following areas: computer graphics, computer-aided design and drafting, computer networks, computerized accounting, administrative assistance include classic design, computer networks, accounting, office assistant, medical office assistance, medical assistant, and pharmacy technician.  Our students receive the necessary business and technical skills that lead to employment, which in some areas is close to 100%. Intensive programs are available morning, afternoon and evening. 

Programs are designed with the assistance of the school’s Industry Advisory Board who represent the area's business and industry. All curricula, equipment, computer software, books and materials are reviewed on a continuing basis to ensure their relevance in today's job market. Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute - Skokie, IL

The Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute is a second main campus of LAOTI.  Enrollment at Zarem/Golde is at 389 and students come from 45 different nations, including students with foreign student visas.  In addition to English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, the Institute’s programs include classic design, computer networks, accounting, office assistant, medical office assistance, clinical medical assistance and pharmacy technician. Zarem/Golde also offers short-term intensive programs in areas of high job market demand as well such as medical coding and billing.

With a program of hands-on learning, Zarem/Golde ORT’s Local Employee Advisory Board has local company representatives that advises the school about the types of skills students need to acquire for hiring. Thus the school curricula meets the needs of local employers and Zarem/Golde ORT students enjoy job placement rates close to 100%. 

Zarem/Golde ORT requires students to participate in a 16-hour job preparation course that includes writing a resume, practice interviews and obtaining references. But Zarem/Golde doesn’t stop there. It teaches the students cultural aspects of being an American, such as listening, how to dress, proper handshakes, eye contact, and other interviewing skills that will help them obtain a job.

ORT E-Learning Center - Brooklyn, NY

The ORT E-Learning Center is located at the Bramson ORT College campus in the Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn, NY.  The Center integrates technology and modern learning methods in Jewish education, including Hebrew language. Courses include Chumash and Navi as well as science, biology and Regents preparation (required to graduate high school in New York).  It sponsors workshops, reviews and works closely with the students of local Jewish day schools and yeshivots.

The ORT e-Learning Center supplements traditional tutoring with tools using advance technology that has been created specifically for the purpose of guiding children through difficult academic tasks.  The program emphasizes study skills in order to help students excel in all subjects.  Particular attention is given to assist students in developing a constructive relationship with each of their teachers in order to maximize their school performance. http://www.ortopsusa.org/

David B. Hermelin Resource Center - West Bloomfield, MI

The David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center, located in the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Jewish Community Center, serves as a technological resource for Jewish educators and provides students of all ages with the opportunity to explore Jewish history and culture in an exciting and innovative way through creative multi-media projects.  In addition, the Center offers job training programs for Orthodox women from the local Detroit community.

Trained professionals offer an individualized, active approach to learning and enliven Jewish education through hands-on training, technical support, educational technology workshops and software and curricular reviews. The Center, which includes the CyberORT Café, the ORTnet Learning Lab and the ORT M2 Studio for state-of-the-art multimedia projects, was established as a joint venture initiated by American ORT, Women's American ORT and ORT Operations USA, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
 
The David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center was named in honor of the late David B. Hermelin, US Ambassador to Norway from 1997 to 2000, who served as president of American ORT and World ORT. Ambassador Hermelin dedicated his life to the belief that education is the best response to ending hunger and poverty, while leading to the preservation of human dignity.
