Just as in Bulgaria, ORT operations in the Czech Republic are the result of its partnership with the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, which is dedicated to rejuvenating struggling Jewish communities in Eastern Europe.

The Lauder-ORT Science and Technology Center at the Lauder Guy Aryeh Jewish Community Day School provides the school’s 190 students with access to 21st century skills such as computer science studies. This enables them to acquire skills that will provide a foundation for their careers and further education.

Jointly funded by World ORT and The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, and with a valuable contribution by American donor Raymond Tye, the Center boasts the most up-to-date facilities for studying Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as well as ICT applications for both general and Jewish subjects. The intensive training of the teaching staff assures the continuity of the program.

In Prague, an ORT computer lab in the Educational and Cultural Center at the Jewish Museum provides users with access to the Jewish Diaspora.
