How it works: Step 1. Create your iMitzvah project page by selecting which iMitzvah project you would like to bring to life. Name your project and personalize your page. Step 2. Send an e-mail through our system about your project to your friends. Post a link on a blog, Web site, Myspace or Facebook profile. Tell everyone you know how you are trying to give back to the community! Step 3. Say thank you to your donors! You'll be notified whenever a gift is made on your iMitzvah page. ORT America iMitzvah Project

ORT America educates hundreds of thousands of students each year, so it is very appropriate that you choose a Teens for Teens iMitzvah project as part of your bar/bat mitzvah preparations.  An increasing number of young adults are shifting the focus of their important life cycle event to assisting those who are less fortunate. The funds that you raise will help support World ORT’s programs in Israel and throughout the world.

Additionally, you will receive a special ORT certificate for your bar/bat mitzvah signed by our national president, a Teens for Teens iMItzvah T-shirt, and, if possible, recognition in your local newspapers.
